We could randomly Shang-hai you into being a randomly picked audience, but we’d don’t have to! We know you all love Ms. Patty and her amazing style!
Our fourth event of the 2017-2018 school year:
Buckle Up, I’m Patty 10k!
Honoring her one-woman show, this medal is part stories, part songs…kind of like what Elaine Stritch did on Broadway, but without the bitterness. Everyone who signed up for this event received this amazing 4″ Playbill-style medal with a sublimated ribbon.
Miss Patty always looked out for her fellow townsfolk, and as the committee chair of the town Welcome Wagon, we are certain she would approve of our charity partner for her event! Our charity partner for this event was Carry the Future. Carry the Future provides infant carriers and other supplies to refugees fleeing their countries with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They give a little bit of comfort and hope to those who are short on both. The proceeds from this event provided baby beds to expectant mothers. Baby beds include practical and essential items for new mamas and babies such as: mosquito net, diapers, newborn clothing, toys, blankets, hygiene items for mom, baby wash and a baby carrier. Our goal was to provide 50 of these baby beds to refugees in Europe!
We are pleased to announce Buckle Up, I’m Patty 10k raised $5,287.27 during the Class of 2018 season to support Carry the Future.
